NATRUE

NATRUE is delighted to announce its participation in the 9th edition of the ERPA Annual Congress on Regulations and Compliance for Cosmetics (CRCC), taking place on 24-25 February in Brussels (Belgium). Organised by the European Responsible Person Association (ERPA), this summit is a key event for professionals in the cosmetics industry, providing a platform for discussions and knowledge-sharing.

This year’s conference will focus on navigating the evolving regulatory landscape, addressing the European Commission’s evolving priorities, including the EU Green Deal, the Chemicals Strategy for Sustainability, and the growing demand for transparency, sustainability, and consumer protection.

In this context, Dr. Mark Smith, NATRUE’s Director General, will take the stage on 24 February at 14 PM to discuss Green Claims in Non-EU Markets. Building on what is happening outside the EU, NATRUE will provide an overview of notable global examples where harmonised criteria and third-party certification are being used to substantiate sustainability-linked characteristics and support cosmetic product claims.

Other topics covered during the 2-day conference include:
• Impactful Regulatory Updates
• Sun Protection Factor (SPF)
• Worldwide Impact on Labelling and Claims
• Regulatory Enforcement
• New Approach Methodologies (NAM) & New Generation Risk Assessments (NGRA)
• Chemical Hazards
• Nanocosmetics
