In 2025, NATRUE has entered into a collaboration agreement with the HYGIEIA Master programme, a pioneering two-year, English-taught programme offered by Lusófona University (Lisbon), University of Belgrade (Serbia), and the University of the Balearic Islands (Spain), alongside key stakeholders from academia, industry, medical societies, and healthcare providers. The partnership aims to raise awareness of natural cosmetics, share scientific knowledge on ingredients and regulations, and promote sector-relevant competencies at a university level.
| Dr Smith, NATRUE’s Director General, commented: “This collaboration reflects NATRUE’s commitment to fostering scientific understanding and education in the natural cosmetics sector. By working with HYGIEIA, we hope to inspire the next generation of professionals and strengthen the holistic approach to health, wellness, and sustainable beauty.” |

Dr Catarina Rosado, HYGIEIA’s consortium coordinator, stated: “We are delighted to welcome NATRUE as an Associated Partner of the HYGIEIA consortium. Their involvement brings valuable expertise from the natural cosmetics industry, enriching our collaborative efforts and creating new opportunities for students to engage directly with key stakeholders in the field.” |
This collaboration marks an important step in NATRUE’s ongoing commitment to education, innovation, and sector development. By fostering knowledge exchange and promoting best practices, NATRUE and HYGIEIA aim to strengthen the natural cosmetics industry and inspire future professionals to embrace sustainable, evidence-based approaches in health and wellness.
