A tree for a green future: NATRUE joins the Dr. Scheffler forest

As part of the “Together for a Green Future” initiative, green team, one of our NATRUE-certified brands based in Germany, wanted to give something meaningful during their recent training sessions with pharmacists. Instead of providing unsustainable gifts, they chose a symbol of nature, sustainability, and our shared future: a tree.

After discussions, the brand decided that NATRUE should have its own tree as well. NATRUE now has a tree in the newly planted Dr. Scheffler Forest in Germany.

The forest includes two notable species:

• Sycamore Maple: supports biodiversity by providing nectar for pollinators and habitats for insects and birds, improves air quality, and enriches forest ecosystems.
• European Beech (Fagus sylvatica / Rotbuche): captures carbon, regulates microclimate, and enhances soil fertility.

The trees were planted by Dr. Scheffler and Aoki GmbH, creating a lasting environmental impact and inspiring sustainable, meaningful gifts.
