From 8th to 10th April, NATRUE took part in in-cosmetics Global 2025, the leading international event for personal care ingredients, held this year in the vibrant city of Amsterdam. Bringing together key players from across the cosmetics and personal care industry, the event welcomed 10,879 unique visitors and a total of 21,342 attendees, many of whom returned over multiple days to explore the extensive exhibition floor.
As in previous years, NATRUE was proudly featured in the Sustainability Zone, a dedicated space highlighting companies and initiatives that are driving sustainability throughout the supply chain. Over the three days, the NATRUE team engaged with a wide range of visitors at our stand, including raw material suppliers, finished product manufacturers, and professionals interested in our work as a non-profit association committed to promoting and protecting natural and organic cosmetics.
The event proved to be an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas, answer questions, and explore collaboration. Interest in the NATRUE Standard was strong throughout the show, with many attendees recognising the relevance of third-party certification in today’s marketplace. These conversations reinforced NATRUE’s role as a trusted benchmark for quality, transparency, and sustainability in the cosmetics sector.
| “In today’s market, independent third-party certification is more important than ever,” said Dr Mark Smith, Director General of NATRUE. “It provides credibility, builds trust with consumers, and helps manufacturers stand out in an increasingly competitive and regulated space.” |
In addition to NATRUE’s presence on the show floor, Dr Smith also delivered a presentation on Tuesday 8th April titled “NATRUE Certification: Green Claims Substantiation.” His talk focused on the critical role that third-party certification plays in verifying sustainability claims, supporting transparency, and ensuring brand integrity. He also discussed how NATRUE certification benefits both raw material producers and finished product manufacturers by boosting visibility and encouraging the adoption of responsible business practices.
We would like to thank everyone who visited our stand, took the time to engage with us, and showed interest in our work and values. Your input, questions, and perspectives help us shape our efforts moving forward.
