NATRUE, the international natural and organic cosmetics association, is excited to announce its active participation at Eco Living Scandinavia, the premier event for sustainable and organic living in the Nordic region. The event will take place at MalmöMässan, in Malmö (Sweden), from 15th to 16th November, and NATRUE will be at the forefront of discussions and product showcases of different NATRUE certified brands at our stand L40 during this inspiring event.

NATRUE will be hosting a dedicated booth at Eco Living Scandinavia where visitors can discover an array of NATRUE-certified products from all around the world, while learning a bit more about the NATRUE Standard. NATRUE’s certification signifies a commitment to transparency and authenticity in the cosmetics industry, ensuring that consumers can make informed choices when it comes to natural and organic beauty.
In addition to this, NATRUE’s experts will be contributing to the event’s knowledge-sharing sessions, offering valuable insights into the natural and organic cosmetics industry. Here’s a sneak peek of NATRUE’s speaker sessions:
Day 1 – 15th November
13:00 – 13:20h – Regulatory Update in Cosmetics (PFAS, Allergens)
Dr. Mark Smith, NATRUE General Director, will delve into the latest regulatory updates in the cosmetics industry, with a focus on issues such as PFAS and allergens labelling. The presentation will be followed by a 10-minute Q&A session.
15:00 – 15:20h – Exploring Sustainability Trends and Innovations in the Beauty Industry
Viktoria Potko, NATRUE Label and Events Officer, will lead a discussion on the ever-evolving sustainability trends and groundbreaking innovations shaping the beauty industry. As with the previous session, there will be an opportunity for a 10-minute Q&A.
On the same day, Dr Mark Smith will also take on the role of a jury member for the beauty awards taking place annually at the show.
Day 2 – 16th November
11:00 – 11:50h – How to communicate truly natural and organic beauty to consumers
Dr Mark Smith will join a panel discussion alongside Henrik Olteng (Transmeri), Pauline Raffaitin (EcoCert), and Satu Mäkinen (Nordic & European Natural Beauty Awards). Together, and moderated by Andrea Endres (Grundare & Värdinna), the speakers will explore effective strategies for communicating the essence of natural and organic beauty products to discerning consumers.
