NATRUE and Weleda France co-exhibited in the 2019 edition of Natexpo, the biggest internal trade show for organic products in France, which took place from 20 to 22 October in Paris. With over 1,000 exhibitors, Natexpo 2019 brought together producers, manufacturers, distributors and specialists in the organic sector at national and international level. NATRUE had the chance to meet with some of our members and label users who are present in the French market and to exchange impressions about the challenges and opportunities for the natural and organic cosmetics sector in France, which is the second largest consumer market for organic products in Europe after Germany.
Sharing a stand with Weleda France was a unique experience for NATRUE to find out more about the inspiring work of one of our founding members. Having been in the market for almost 100 years, Weleda is not only a benchmark company in the natural and organic cosmetic sector, but also the world’s leading producer of natural and organic cosmetic products. Weleda and NATRUE share a common mission: to protect and promote authentic natural and organic cosmetics with exceptionally high-quality standards for the benefit of consumers worldwide.
Along with their most famous product line (such as the skin food one), Weleda presented their new organic food supplements and their NATRUE certified anti-blemish and concealer skincare products.
NATRUE visited lavera Naturkosmetik’s stand to find out more about the novelties of the German brand, such as their latest NATRUE certified sheet masks. Lavera Naturkosmetik, one of NATRUE’s founding members, has been recently chosen Brand of the Century by the “German Standards” jury in the product category of “Natural Cosmetics”. The Brands of the Century is an encyclopedia of German brands considered icons of the German industry. Each selected brand is an exemplary model for a product category, so congratulations to all the lavera Naturkosmetik team for this great recognition!
Beauty Garden, whose organic skincare products are NATRUE certified, presented their novelties in their organic skincare range: a night serum and a walnut scrub. Beauty Garden is a French brand that develops natural and organic cosmetics as well as herbal teas with flowers and vegetables cultivated and processed directly from their fields and gardens in the Limousin region, in the centre of France.
The American producer of organic soap and personal care products presented at Natexpo their latest NATRUE certified soap creations and explained consumers more about the 18 types of use in which consumers can use their liquid soaps.
The Humble Co.
The Humble Co, a Swedish company which develops eco-friendly toothbrushes and NATRUE certified toothpastes, has won this year Natexpo 2019 Silver Award for their interdental bamboo brush, made of bamboo from sustainable forestry. Congratulations!
