The Scandinavian Society of Cosmetic Chemists (SCANCOS) is going to celebrate its annual conference from 24th to 25th November in Stockholm (Sweden). Entitled “Post-Pandemic effects on the Cosmetics Industry”, the event will address the pandemic consequences from various perspectives: from sourcing and manufacturing of raw materials to the finished products.

Consumers of natural cosmetics demand clarity and transparency but consumers and manufacturers are equally faced with increasing amounts of information on-pack. To understand the situation further NATRUE commissioned a survey focusing on consumer perception and expectation of digitisation and digital tools.

On 25th November at 9.15h Dr. Mark Smith, NATRUE Director General, will discuss the consumer survey in light of on-going regulatory initiatives linked to the European Green Deal, its actions and objectives including product information like claims and labelling.
