No more Greenwashing: NATRUE & green team at Expopharm

NATRUE, the International Natural and Organic Cosmetics Association, is pleased to announce its participation in the upcoming edition of Expopharm, Europe’s leading trade fair for the pharmacy sector, which will take place from 16–18 September in Düsseldorf, Germany. For three days, the event will bring the industry together to foster innovation, share knowledge, and encourage professional exchange.

This year, NATRUE will join forces with green team to host a session on Thursday, 18 September at 13:00. The talk, entitled “Greenwashing Bingo: Tipps für die grüne Apotheke”, will be presented by Aida Martínez, NATRUE’s Certification Manager, and Edanur Gündogdu, Product Manager at green team.

The interactive session will address:

What greenwashing is and how to recognise it
Practical tips to avoid this misleading practice in packaging and product claims
How certification can serve as an ally in the fight against greenwashing
Advice for pharmacists on supporting their customers in making informed choices

The session will conclude with a lively Greenwashing Bingo, complete with surprises for the winners!

By raising awareness and providing practical guidance, NATRUE and green team aim to equip pharmacists with the knowledge and tools to identify and avoid greenwashing while strengthening trust with consumers.
