HOW TO GET INVOLVED IN THE INTERNATIONAL DAY OF NATURAL COSMETICS 2023?
NATRUE has prepared a presentation that includes all you need to know about the Day. The objective is to encourage producers, manufacturers, and distributors of natural and organic cosmetics, as well as organizations and individuals to promote the benefits -for both people and planet – of truly natural cosmetics, and inspire us all to #choosetruebeauty.

Below you can find a list of all the activities planned to celebrate the Day. Join us and help us to promote and protect real natural and organic cosmetics!
- About the activity: this challenge will help you to identify how well you are able to assess which green claims are more likely to promote sustainability and empower sustainable consumption decisions. This challenge is based on the ten principles of the “Guidelines for Providing Product Sustainability Information” developed by UNEP and ITC.
- Who is it for? All brands, marketing and communication professionals, as well as students.
- Organiser: Developed by United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), and the United Nations System Staff College (UNSSC) in partnership with the One Planet Network Consumer Information Programm.

- About the activity: In the lead-up to International Day of Natural Cosmetics, Solimara starts a segment called ‘The Natural Alternative’ where they showcase how you can easily substitute a chemical product for a natural solution. The purpose of this campaign is to put natural ingredients on a well-deserving pedestal, with a weekly reminder of the benefits of plant-based alternatives that can easily fit into your lifestyle. Nature provides us with an abundance of resources that are not only sustainable but also healthy for us and the planet. By using plant-based ingredients, we can reduce our reliance on chemical substitutes that often come with negative environmental and health impacts.Solimara hopes that after seeing the list of benefits natural ingredients provide, and the potential ‘costs’ of their chemical counterparts, you will get a new vision on the importance of purchasing 100% natural products.

- About the activity: Nenna Manufactory launches a webinar on September 16 at 4:00 p.m. titled “What makes our cosmetic products special?” The presentation will address the following points:
1. Presentation of products manufactured by Nenna Manufactory from the point of view of NATRUE certification
2. The values that Nenna’s products receive from the NATRUE certification
3. Informative knowledge about 100% natural products in support of NATRUE certification.
4. Why Nenna has chosen NATRUE?
5. How confident Nenna is about the quality of its products in applying the NATRUE certification criteria.
